Polysport USA is a fast-growing leader in the sports surfacing industry, and we’re looking for a driven, competitive Civil Estimator to help us grow. This role is about much more than takeoffs and surface calculations — those are the easy part. We want someone who is constantly thinking about how to find opportunities, build relationships, and help our team win projects.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll play a key role in both estimating and business development by helping Polysport USA pursue and secure athletic construction projects, including running tracks, tennis courts, and other specialized sports surfacing work.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for athletic surfacing, grading, drainage, concrete, asphalt, and sitework scopes.
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Search for new project opportunities every day.
- Help put together bids for management review and approval.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
- Submit RFIs and clarifications to better define project scope and reduce risk.
- Travel to meet with general contractors and other industry partners.
- Travel to trade shows and industry events to help expand company relationships and visibility.
- Contribute ideas and urgency throughout the bid process to help position the team to win work.
- Support a smooth handoff from pre construction to operations after award.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone with estimating experience, strong instincts, and the right attitude. The ideal candidate is competitive, proactive, and excited about helping the company grow.
You may be a strong fit if you have:
- 3+ years of estimating experience in civil construction, sitework, athletic facilities, or related trades.
- Experience reviewing plans, building estimates, and coordinating with subcontractors.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- A willingness to travel for meetings, trade shows, and project pursuits.
- A positive, team-first attitude.
- A mindset that is always focused on winning work.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus, but equivalent industry experience is also valued.
