Operational Superintendent – Sports Surfacing.

$75,000–$125,000 per year + performance-based bonuses.

Field-based position – based in Freeport, FL.

Build quality surfaces. Take pride in every installation. Polysport USA is seeking an experienced, hands-on Field Technician to support sports surfacing. Candidates must reside locally (Freeport, FL), by the start of employment. This is not a remote position, and extensive travel to project sites is required.

We’re looking for a dependable professional who takes ownership of quality, prioritizes safety, and works effectively with installation crews, customers, and project teams.

What You’ll Do:

Perform and support surface preparation, installation, and finishing in accordance with company and manufacturer standards.
Provide onsite technical guidance and assist crews and subcontractors with installation methods and troubleshooting.
Support pre-installation planning and help resolve issues during and after installation.
Monitor workmanship, identify problems early, and communicate corrective actions to the project team.
Operate SMG installation machinery and maintain proper care of tools and equipment.
Coordinate daily activities with project managers, leadership, and office staff.
Complete daily progress reports in BuilderTrend and maintain accurate timekeeping and project documentation.
Conduct jobsite safety checks, follow safety and PPE requirements, and promptly report hazards or incidents.
Inspect, secure, and maintain company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.
Represent Polysport professionally with customers, school officials, subcontractors, and crew members.

What You Bring:

Proven experience in sports surfacing or commercial flooring installation.
Working knowledge of surface preparation, installation materials, equipment, and finishing techniques.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to workmanship.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hands-on field environment.
Clear communication, strong organization, and dependable follow-through.
Comfortable using smartphone apps, email, and digital reporting tools.
Willingness to travel extensively and remain flexible around project schedules.
Residency in Freeport, Florida, by the start of employment.

Exceptional Qualifications:

Experience operating SMG installation equipment.
Previous crew leadership, training, or subcontractor-coordination experience.
Familiarity with BuilderTrend.
Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Location & Travel:

This role is based in Freeport, Florida, with travel to project sites across the southeast. Travel may reach 100% during installation season. Employees must maintain professional conduct while traveling and staying in company-arranged lodging.

Compensation & Company Support:

Annual base salary of $75,000–$125,000.
